Rate of Pay: $70,000 per year

Hart & Highland
is a socially-focused marketing strategy and creative studio based in Los Angeles. This role is a primarily remote, full-time employment role with in-person co-working sessions in Santa Monica, CA. Position Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for executing social media accounts for our rad clients. This role works collaboratively with other team members within the marketing and creative departments to create efficiencies and the most effective outcome for clients and Hart & Highland as a company. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for all forms of social media and look forward to working within a fast-paced team environment with multiple consumer brands. You should be up-to-date with the latest social media platforms, trends, applications, and content creation tools. You should have the ability to learn new social media platforms as needed for clients. You should have excellent communication skills, extremely high attention to detail, as well as ongoing determination to meet and overcome challenges. You should be ready to take initiative, keep projects organized, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with coworkers and clients. 

Must have at least 2 years of experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts for consumer brands. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and own the implementation of social media strategies aligned with goals and objectives

  • Oversee and manage all social media timelines for assigned brand accounts

  • Plan engaging and original content calendars for various social media channels

  • Strategically develop social captions to convey the brand voice, tone, and personality of assigned social media accounts

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as content creators, designers, and social media coordinators, to ensure a cohesive and effective social media presence

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization

  • Collaborate with social media coordinator to engage with clients' target audiences, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platforms, social commerce, and best practices, and adapt strategies accordingly

  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and provide insights to help clients stay ahead of the curve

  • Collaborate and support with paid social media planning, execution, and analysis

  • Lead assigned account client meetings, presenting insights, and progress reports

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following: a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must have at least two years of experience providing social media coordination for a brand/business 

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience managing an Instagram account for a consumer brand(s)

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience managing a business TikTok account

  • Must have experience managing social media on Facebook, X, Pinterest and YouTube

  • Must have excellent skills in social media caption copywriting

  • Must have experience with social media community management and engagement

  • Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HeyOrca, or others 

  • Experience with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a plus

  • Experience in an agency setting is a plus

  • Experience with CPG food/bev and wellness/beauty brands is a plus

  • Experience creating social video content is a plus

  • Experience with project management software is a plus (Asana, Slack, Dropbox, etc.)

 

Other Requirements:

  • All applicants must read, write, and speak the following languages: English

  • Ability to commute to Santa Monica, CA, a minimum of once per week
